I am a copywriter in Richmond, Virginia, and a James Madison University graduate.

Feature writing is my passion—I love learning about people and sharing their stories with the world. I firmly believe everyone has a story, and deserves to be put in the spotlight to showcase their skills and accomplishments.

I've come to pursue the art of copywriting for marketing companies as well, telling client stories in compelling ways that suit their goals.

My education and career have given me a wealth of skills in editing, writing for a purpose, and interviewing. I am confident in professional editing techniques and feature storytelling.

Neighborhoods

I have written about various neighborhoods within major U.S. cities all across America. My top MSAs were Denver, CO, Seattle, WA, and Chicago, IL.

Cities

I have written about various cities in over 15 states, concentrating in Utah and Colorado. These range from Tier 2 cities with a population of 100,000, to Tier 3 cities with around 5,000. Other states I've written in include California, Texas, Montana and Washington, among others.

Places

I have written about various places throughout the U.S., from census-designated places to boroughs and unincorporated cities.

Marketing Experience

My years working for Key Web Concepts and Maebird Marketing have given me invaluable experience in marketing and client relations. Specifically, with writing SEO-driven content for various clients.

Blogs

Of the 20+ SEO clients I managed at Key Web Concepts, Epperly and Follis (personal injury lawyers) was one of my more consistent ones. I would write one article every month for their blog, based on either one of their services or industry-related concerns.

Web Design Content

Of the 12+ web design projects I wrote full-copy for, American Stripping Company of Richmond was one of my more-involved projects. I wrote every service page from scratch, and input the content into the pre-made design. The website also includes landing pages for their services for various GEO tags (AKA "Wood stripping in Chesterfield"), which I had a hand in writing.

Social Media Management

For my social media clients, I would create 1-3 posts per week, based on the SEO plan each client had, sharing the content across all of their social media platforms (primarily Facebook and Instagram). For my client 360 Total Wellness, I had to collaborate with our graphic design team each week to create the deliverables, and collaborate with the client to fact-check the information.

Client Commercials

Most of my clients at Maebird requested commercial videos to be aired on TV or added to websites. I would write the script for these commercials and assist with the video production by creating shot lists, attending media shoots and offering guidance. Montante was one of these clients, who recieved one 30-second commercial per quarter.
